DIVE MALDIVES

The idyllic coral islands of the Maldives are ranked amongst the best dive destinations in the world.  We now offer quality diving packages in the Maldives, in conjunction with Euro-Divers, which can be pre-booked in the UK.

The exceptional beauty of these enchanting islands has made this one of the most popular diving destinations in the world.  In good conditions, underwater visibility is at the highest level and can exceed 50 metres.   The warm water temperatures all year round make diving the Maldives a pleasure.

The North Male Atoll is the home of the Wattaru Kandu and Lion’s Head dive sites, which are frequented by reef sharks.  Lankanfinokhu, or Manta Points as it is locally known, is noted as being a great place to see manta rays being cleaned by local colonies of cleaner fish.  Wattaru Kandu is home to stingrays and garden eels.

Hukrueli, in the South Male Atoll, is another place to see rays and cleaner fish, while the protected marine area of Maaya Thila is home to turtles, zebra morays, white-tip sharks and the rarer guitar shark.

Hanifaru lagoon in the Baa Atoll is one of the best places to see whale sharks and manta rays.  These are most likely to be seen from June to September as this is the monsoon season and equinox, when the lagoon is filled with plankton.

Each of our Maldives dive centres are manned by English-speaking diving instructors, who have and excellent knowledge of local diving conditions and have a strict adherence to safety and quality.
